Instructions for Home Typists
After so many Home Typists/Data Entry Job scams, I thought this would be the best way to break all illusions. If you came
directly to this page, you better read about Money Making Scams first.
Most Home Typist Scam sites say that you will be given a list of companies who need you to type in ads for them. But to get
this 'secret' list of companies, all you need to do is pay anywhere from $49 to $97.
What is this money making secret? Promoting Affiliate Programs with Google AdWords.
Let me tell you one thing - the methodology they talk about i.e., making money with Google AdWords and affiliate
programs, is not a scam. But, asking you to pay for information that is available for free, is a scam!
If you don't know what an affiliate program is, check out the Affiliate's Zone.
What do you need?
For this to work, you need two things: a Google AdWords account and a ClickBank account (or any other affiliate program).
Signup for a Free ClickBank ID
How do you start?
Before you start typing in ads, you need to find affiliate programs you can promote. For that, just go to a ClickBank Mall and find products you are interested in promoting.
Then, sign up for a Google AdWords account. If you don't know how Google AdWords works, check out the Google AdWords Tutorial.
Once you have your AdWords account, type in ads for each affiliate program you have chosen and when someone buys from your
affiliate link, you will make money.
How could this fail?
This sounds easy right - you type ads and you make money. So what's the problem? There are two things that the scam sites do
not tell you when you join.
1) You need $5 to signup for a Google AdWords account and then you will pay for each click your ads receive. So while
selecting an affiliate program, you need to remember that you will have these expenses to count for.
2) Most of these sites say that you do not need a website. Wrong! If you do not have a website, then you need a huuuuuuuuuge
budget for your ads to show on Google. Google will only show one ad per affiliate site, and most sites which pay well have 1000s of affiliates.
If you want to outbid them, then you should have lots of money or you need to have your own website. Check out more details of Google's Guidelines here.
So there! Now you have all the info that the Home Typist scam sites offer - and you got it for free :-) If you need help with
Affiliate Programs or Google AdWords, don't hesitate to ask.
