I have joined uVme to check it out.
I am contacting the uVme people to find out more about this opportunity.
I used to play a lot of online puzzle games, like the ones you see at www.plastelina.net.
If it is something similar, I have no problem with it. But if it is a subtle way of getting people into gambling, I see the red alert.
I received an email after joining uVme and it said:

- SOCIAL NETWORKING, and
- SOCIAL MARKETING.
This program is by ‘VWD’ - a five year old well stablished company.
Based on two years of research and development, our unshakeable conviction is that this ground-breaking programme will send a shockwave around the Internet marketing world — making a six-figure income for many of the participants who ride the wave with us”.
I wrote back:
“I am not sure what this is about.
What kind of games?
How does the social networking part work?
In other sites we bookmark our sites and get traffic to our website. This one says it combines games, social networking, etc. I am not sure how it is done”.
Here is one more answer from them:
“Evo is about:
* Building a social networking community - just like “you tube”, “my space” and instant messengers.
* Members of the community being able to socially interact
* Having fun and be entertained on the casual games platform that has been bolted on to the social networking site.
* People being able to generate a monthly income from the massive growth in both social networking and online casual games.
Like any social networking sites everyone can join for free, and have their social networking tools i.e be able to upload their own profile etc… This will allow us to populate the site and grow the community.
Imagine being part of a community whereby you can challenge your buddy or your team members or people within the community to a game of pool, backgammon, puzzle games etc., or get involved in multi-player challenges, or even get involved in tournaments, whereby thousands are playing in a league system. There will be interaction between people yet at the same time they’ll be having fun and being entertained”.
Here is another question I sent to uVme:
“I have not told my list about uVme because I am not yet very sure it is not gambling.
There is a paid part where diff people pay to play and one person wins - isn’t this gambling?
I have read enough sales letter type description. I want a straight forward one. It will be no good to the group to have people who basically do not agree with the concept.
So in my own interest and in your interest I want a straight answer.
Am I right in thinking
1. There is a free version with games such as solitaire.
2. There is a paid version which is closer to gambling”.
This mail bounced back, so I wrote my immediate upline.
“Today I got a mail from …… and there was an email for contact mentioned in that email. I wrote to him at the id he had given for contact, but the email bounced back.
Tell me honestly ………(Name) , not in sales letter type language, but plain talk.
It will do you no good to have me under you, if later I find this to be closer to gambling than innocent games like solitaire. Are innocent games used as a front to draw people and then get them involved in gambling?
Please read the mail I tried to send to …….(Name) (I have fw the bounced back email)”
The response I received:
“I seriously recommend you go through the entire site in detail, and NO it is definitely not gambling.
If you see in the site they say that we can register for free with NO obligation. so how is that gambling? The paid part is for serious business builders with a compensation plan never seen in the industry before. And I would like to direct you to ….. (Name) who is our top person in India, …….. I will direct you to his group and u can ask him directly there what u want, u wil have it from the horse’s mouth itself”.
I have edited out the name and references. If anyone from uVme sends me a write up, I will post it here on this blog.

Hi, my understanding that insofar as gambling goes they have steered well away from it as that very term would greatly reduce any Internet expansion plans as “gambling” is banned in so many countries.
How it’s being put across is that its online ‘Skill’ games wherey the winner is determined by their skill at playing the game as opposed to gambling where the winner is determined by chance.
Of course it’s also a multi level marketing plan that’s from a trusted pedigree so not only can you be a player but there’s also the opportunity to expand YOUR group and earn a residual income with your team or indeed any online players.
I trust this helps; you may get a bit more guidance on this from uVme.
